DIY: Recycled Lip Palette
So, any of you guys ever had the problem of having you favourite lipstick ruined? What about when your lipsticks are finished and you wished you could use the remaining product?I love to buy MAC lipsticks, and living with nieces my lipsticks are always getting ruined. The younger ones usually tend to destroy all the pink coloured ones, and the older niece just finishes them even before I have a chance to use them.g
I'm going to show you guys how to recycle a old pallets and lipsticks.
This is what the end product will look like. It can be applied with a lip brush.
What you need
What to do?
Simply folded the foil over
And sealed the product in. If you do use a palette that still contains product. You could save it, adding rubbing alcohol will press the product into another palette.
Once the palette is washed and clean you can move on to lipsticks.
Colours: HARE Lipstick, MAC Crosswires, MAC Viva glam Gaga, MAC Satin |
So I had 3 MAC lipsticks 2 were finished, 1 was just destroyed. The others a Green coloured lipstick but changes colour on you lips. Depending on your natural lip colour it can come out light pink to dark pink, almost a pinky purple.
So if your using a new lipstick or 1 that's not entirely finished You can just use a knife to cut it off. If its a finished lipstick, Use a toothpick to scoop it out.
I Worked out half the lipstick (if its full) is all you need for the small dish in the palette
Once its melted it should look something like this, Don't worry about the little bits that are still kind of solid they will melt.
You can now pour the product in to the empty dishes in the palette. Continue to do this with the remaining 3 lipsticks.
And you done!!!
Thanx for stopping by... Hope you come back soon XD
