Pillow Cinema: Shoreditch
Question?.... You want to go out, But its cold, Where do you go? A restaurant? maybe a Cinema? but what do you do when you bored of typical Cinemas like Vue, Odeon, Empire? I tell you what you do..... You go to Pillow Cinema!!
Right lets me First say, Pop up cinemas are amazing, I have never been to one before because all the films I usually want to see are sold out or I find out too late. Usually they can be quite pricey, but not pillow cinema. £11.25 per person, to me seems quite reasonable. Its located @ Shoreditch underground station (which is not in use any more). Its just off brick lane 5 minutes away from Box Park. Its Running from now until February (2015)
So let me break this down for you.
You pay 22.50 for a ticket of two people. Tickets can only be bought in pairs.
The ticket covers, A large bean bag, a Throw and the movie.
You bring your own pillow or rent one for £1, They sell popcorn, sweets, hot chocolate, beers and spirits. all at reasonable prices. Popcorn cost around 2.50, a can was 1.50 and I think beers were 4.00. Not too pricey.
The staff were really nice, and surprisingly once we got downstairs to the cinema it was really warm.

We Sat in the middle but near the far back. The view was still very clear and supremely no heads in the way. To be Honest Visual and Audio quality was very good. I would Definitely come here again, Most likely to watch the Dark Knight.
Loved the Stamp, wish it lasted a bit longer though.
For More information or to book tickets head on over to Pillow Cinemas Website. They have listings until the end of February. Really hope you guys check this place out.
Take care
xXx
