Bokeh Photography

So ever since I bought my DSLR, Ive been obsessed with Photography techniques with out using any form of Photoshop. I came across bokeh Photography and fell in love it Although I have not had the chance to

I know, I know my XO/ Weeknd Obsession goes too far sometimes. anyway, So i went down to paper chase and bought some plastic sheet, which was quite hard. The way people do this is by getting black card and cutting the shapes out, But because I wanted to use XO, Cutting that out would have been a real pain so I used the plastic by tracing the outline in black, and colouring around the outside of the letters to completely block out the light. I really wish I had a Tutorial to show you guys. I might do one for you guys later one when I really get to use these technique outdoors.

The effect came out really cool because it was really foggy outside.

Also used Hearts

And stars.....

These ones only showed the street lamps because i changed how much light i wanted allowed in to the camera

That XO obsession....

Here i focused on 1 street lamp which was Right opposite my bedroom window.

This came out cool because the yellow lights were the street lamps and the white light was the car Approaching on my road. The headlights caused the white lights.

When using Bokeh Photography i learn it was really important to know how much light to allow in to the camera.

This one was one of the most amazing, The stars were Rain drops on my window. The lamp from outside was shining on to my window and lighting up the Rainbows. I also have a tree outside my room so this picture looks like the stars are on the tree.

You have to do a lot of messing around with the Zooms and Focus of the camera, This is best done in Manual. Also not I used a 50mm / 1.8 Canon Lens.

If you have a DSLR and a 50mm Lens, you should really try Bokeh photography it is so much fun.
