DIY: Wonder Women High Heels

If you had seen my previous post "DIY Comic Book Make-Up Brush Holder" You would have seen how i created the Brush holders using real comic books and Glue. The same concept was used on these shoes.

I made these shoes Months and Months ago... I never had realised I had taken pictures step by step. My Friend had stayed the night over, and We sat down for long 4 hours making these,

I got these shoes from deichmann for £20, usually you don't really want to spend that much on something your going to use in a DIY Project, Near the end I had just given up looking for what I had in mind and fell for the red Heel and platform. So I decided to use these instead. I bought 2 of the same comics to ensure shoes had the same pictures. My friend done it differently, She had a more Collage Effect.

The most boring part was cutting out what I needed.

I started off with cutting out the Words and Main pictures. As these are what you want to stand out. Lol... I guess your wondering why my Tea is pink, My mum makes Kashmiri Tea and puts pink Food colouring init. Its one of my Favourites.

Next I cut out the the "Background" pictures, These were to cover the shoe making Sure all areas were covered.

The Bottom of the picture shoes strips cut out in straight lines these were used to boarder the top of the shoes and the bottom.

I used Pictures that weren't to big and not too small. I didn't want a effortless look on my shoes.

I started with the Actual heel just because i thought it would be easy to start off with. I worked on both shoes at the same time so I could be as accurate as possible.

These were the Shoes my Friend was working on.

I tried My best to Be as neat as Possible.....

My niece started making some on a pair of Flat pumps. By the time she finished cutting out what she wanted she was so tired that just started rushing the glueing process just so she could go to bed

My Friends Finished Shoes

The three Pairs Together.

These were mine.......

My Nieces Extremely Rushed Pair

In the End she ended up using these as her House Shoes. My Friends Pair... I dont know what was planning on doing with them, but she wanted to make a pair of converses.

Lol modelling in her pyjamas,

Black socks with these shoes??..... Not a Good look.

Til Next Time Peace Out xX
